Asia-Pacific Alliance to Advance the ICPD Agenda (APA/ICPD)
The APA/ICPD is a network of NGOs, government development assistance agencies and related organizations in donor countries of the Pacific Rim. ARHA, CAFNEC and SH&FPA are the Australian members of the Alliance.
The objective of the Alliance is to strengthen cooperation among NGOs, governments and related organizations that are committed to population, reproductive health, the environment, sustainable development and other goals as set out in the Program of Action of the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD).
Sexual Health & Family Planning Australia
Sexual Health and Family Planning Australia (SH&FPA) works to enable people to achieve reproductive and sexual health and well-being in the context of a sustainable environment.
In addition to our clinic and education services in Australia, SH&FPA conducts international development assistance programs in Southeast Asia and the Pacific.
We believe that the protection of reproductive health rights and the provision of comprehensive reproductive health services are integral to poverty alleviation and sustainable population levels.
Australian Reproductive Health Alliance
The Australian Reproductive Health Alliance (ARHA) was formed in 1995, to promote the Program of Action from the 1994 International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) held at Cairo.
ARHA seeks through public education to inform policy makers, the general public and special interest groups on matters concerning international family planning programs, reproductive health, and other population and development issues that were agreed at the ICPD.
