Filmed on Country. Held by community. Shared for intergenerational impact.

First Nations people have shared stories by the warmth of the campfire for over 80,000 years. Storytelling remains a vital way for Elders to pass on knowledge, teach accepted ways of behaving, and pass on responsibilities for living with and caring for Country to children and young people.

‍

Forever Stories supports First Nations filmmakers with the production budgets, resources and backing needed to self-determine their own film shoots on Country alongside their communities. They record and safeguard stories for future generations, while we share them widely to connect, educate and inspire audiences everywhere.
