Sacred Smoke is a film about the importance of smoke and smoking ceremony in First Nations cultures.

The film features the knowledge and wisdom of Uncle Steve Cora from the lands of the Yugambeh-speaking peoples.

As Uncle Steve explains, smoke is used for initiation/Law, food and hunting, acknowledgment and cleansing, and to give permission to walk on Country. Importantly, practices vary between language groups and Nations. Each Nation has their own unique relationship and connection to smoke.
