We're excited to launch our 2025 Annual Report. It's been a year of growth, reflection and continued momentum for Common Ground. Reaffirming that storytelling is not only expression, but a tool for change.
As we look ahead, our commitment remains clear: to amplify and back First Nations voices, strengthen our creative ecosystem, and build the conditions for truth, healing and accountability.
Here’s a look back at a few key highlights over the year.
Launched our new truth-telling project Weaving Truths which centres First Nations voices through a storyteller series with Dakota Feirer, Phoebe McIlwraith and Neil Morris.
Created and shared our first-ever secondary education resource for Weaving Truths in collaboration with Kyarna Cruse.
Launched our Be The Change: Community Kit to help people move from intention to meaningful action
Hosted our Be The Change webinar to hear from First Nations storytellers and learn practical ways to make change with Common Ground featuring a panel with Kirli Saunders, Phoebe McIlwraith, Brooke Collard, Molly Hunt, Gary Hamaguchi and Scott Wilson.
Celebrate the power of learning about First Nations cultures from First Nations people through Listen & Learn Month in October featuring resources created in collaboration with Clea North, Harmony Domaille, Jordan Green and Kyarna Cruse.
Launched the second edition of Grounded Story to support six early-career First Nations creatives to bring new storytelling projects to life.
Thank you for your continued solidarity and support of our work in 2025.
