This story is told by Nyikina Warrwa man, Mark Coles Smith. It tells the story of two young men, Babaga Mandana and Bua Buaga, who are going through cultural initiation where they must abide by strict rules and Law guided from Country. The boys start to believe they are above the Law. Little do they know Yoongoorrookoo, the magic water serpent, is watching them. This story is about the importance of Law and the consequences of breaking the Law.
