Kathleen Kemarre Wallace tells us the story of an emu and his two wives. At the beginning of the story, Kathleen shares with us that she is an Eastern Arrernte woman and she was born in the bush. She lived there before going to a mission called Santa Teresa when she was 13. While at the mission she was told to give her stories away, but she remembers all her stories and has kept them strong.
