The story of the Seven Sisters is a Songline. It tells the journey of the seven sisters as they were chased by a man across the sky. It relates to the star cluster known as the Pleiades in the constellation Taurus. This rendition of the Seven Sisters story is from the Eastern Arrernte people, whose lands are to the east of Alice Springs. It is told by Kathleen Wallace – an Eastern Arrernte woman. It was filmed at Ross River (about 80km from Alice Springs).
